Doug Christy, business coachDoug Christy

Owner, Certified Professional Business Coach

Location: Bedford, PA

To own a coaching firm, especially one that has a passion for the complex dynamics that occur within family owned businesses, I think it’s imperative that the founder and leader of the firm is an experienced and successful coach. Coaching is my passion, and with nearly a decade in the industry, I’ve gained a wealth of experience and insight. With the priceless efforts of my incredible team, we’ve helped so many business owners achieve tremendous success. I’m so proud and humbled to have been a part of the journey for so many business owners who’ve turned their lives and businesses around. Over the years I’ve personally coached hundreds of business owners in well over a hundred different professions and industries. So far in my career I’ve also been fortunate to earn:

  • 2009 Coach of the Year, Professional Business Coaches Alliance (PBCA), North America’s largest independent alliance of business coaches.
  • The first “non-founder” named to PBCA’s Executive Committee.
  • Achieved PBCA Black Belt Status, a ranking in the top 5% of all business coaches in North America.
  • Appointed head of the PBCA’s Master Coach Academy which is responsible for training professional business coaches on best practice business processes.
  • Appointed Chair of OneRedmond’s small business advisory committee representing thousands of small businesses within the Redmond, Washington region.

Before I became a Business Coach, I had 25 years of Executive leadership experience including:

  • CEO/President/COO of 500 mile regional railroad in the Midwest leading them to two of their best earning years in company’s history.
  • Executive Director of public agency owning a 300 mile railroad in Northern California responsible for releasing over $50 million in funding to restore commercial freight service.
  • Business Development Director for $12 billion eastern railroad and earnedHome Run of the Yearaward in Intermodal for generating 50% of company’s profit on only 3% of total volume.

My community and my church are so important to me, and I’m personally and professionally active in both by serving those needing support and connection to their ultimate purpose in life.

williams2Dennis Williamson, M. Ed.

Location: Bedford, PA

I started “Family Counseling and Training Associates” in 1980, diverting juvenile offenders away from the juvenile justice system, by addressing family related issues. Our preventive approach was one of the first of its kind in Pennsylvania. Over the years we’ve served youth and families referred through Probation, and Children and Youth services in Somerset, Bedford, and Cambria counties. I believe my clients would describe me as an empathic listener, who can provide logical suggestions for growth and change. For the past 6 years, I’ve provided cognitive behavioral therapy to hundreds of clients trying to escape the slavery of opiate addiction. Each day provides me the opportunity to make the world a better place. I’m blessed to live next to a beautiful river, where I’m likely to be found in my kayak, watching for the bald eagle that lives in our neighborhood. But my biggest passion is my family. My incredible wife and I are raising our 10-year-old grand daughter, as we re-familiarize ourselves with coloring books, stickers, princesses and piano lessons! My latest passion is my grandson, soon to have his first birthday. I love spending time with him. I serve on the Board of Directors of Chalybeate Springs Ministry where I run weekly group counseling, Bible sessions and coordinate outreach events. I’m also highly involved in Chalybeate’s residential aftercare program for men. This ministry is one of the most important things in my life. “Whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.” MATTHEW 25:40
